How does Book a Court work?

When you make a booking through Book A Court you will receive a PIN which you enter at the gate to the club. Members and non-members can make a booking and enter the courts at any time that a court is available. You will keep the same PIN for your subsequent bookings.

If you experience any difficulties in making a booking via Book a Court, please in the first instance call 1800 752 983 for technical support during business hours. If Tennis Australia are unable to assist, please contact a club committee member.
Please be aware that it may take up to 15 minutes or so from receiving your booking confirmation for your PIN to be able to be processed at the gate. Also be aware that it can take the Book A Court system a couple of weeks to be updated with membership information from the My Tennis system. New members may therefore be charged to Book A Court initially and they have the option of dining Tennis Australia to have their details updated (call 1800 752 983) or they can keep track of their payments and claim a refund from the Club once Book A Court recognises their membership.

The gate may need a firm push after you have entered your PIN. If you wish to use the clubhouse facilities, please push open the clubhouse door as soon as practicable after you enter the club - otherwise you may need to step outside, close the gate, re-enter your PIN and start again.

Book A Court automatically includes lighting during the times when it is required, but if during any session booked through Book A Court it gets too dark the lights will come on. This will only happen if the court you are on was booked and the booking PIN was keyed in. If you arrive and find the gate ajar or it can be pushed open due to another user having keyed in their PIN, you still need to enter your Book A Court PIN to ensure that you will get lights on your court if they are needed.
Court Availability
Our three courts are available at any time between 6am and 11pm, excluding pennant, club social tennis and coaching bookings. Book A Court will show which courts, if any, are available on any day at any time.

Pennant teams and Sunday social tennis have priority over all bookings.

Player Responsibilities
To keep the courts in good condition, please:
-
Drag courts after play (it redistributes the sand).
-
Follow all directions on official signs at the courts, PARTICULARLY those signs that refer to preventative measures for cockatoo damage.
-
Do not wear ripple or studded sole shoes (they can mark the surface).
-
Do not play on wet courts (it compacts the sand and can become slippery).
-
Report maintenance issues or damage to club property to secretary@ainslietennis.org.au.
